Kartsport Marlborough is hosting round 3 of the 2018 twilight series on the 17th March. Two Marlborough Juniors are leading there classes, young Arthur Broughan in the Cadet Class is showing dad how to do it by winning 3 of his 4 races . William Exton was dominant winning all 4 races in the Junior Rotax with Sam Bugler driving well to sit in 4th. The senior drivers Herbie Broughton (Rotax light), Tim Evans (Briggs lights) Peter Richardson and Matt Broughan (Briggs heavy) are all sitting in the top 3 heading into this weekend.

This year Kartsport Marlborough and Kartsport Nelson have got together to create an opportunity for karters to have a 2 day weekend of racing over each of the previous mentioned days with Nelson running meetings on the Sunday.
Marlborough Drivers Do Well
Six Marlborough Karters headed to Dunedin for the NZ Masters games, Matt Broughan, Blake Greenfield, Peter Richardson, Tim Evans, Paul Bugler and Greg Bennett.
With all six entered in the Briggs class the competition started well in advance of them arriving at the games village. Once they hit the track racing 5 heats on the Saturday and 4 heats on the Sunday current Marlborough club champion Tim Evans was dominant through out the first day and continued that form to bring home the gold medal in his age group with Greg Bennett wining the silver. Blake Greenfield and Peter Richardson won silver and bronze respectively in their age group. The meeting finished with a 25 lap all in Grand Prix with Greg Bennett taking out the Gold and Tim Evans the bronze.
